Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026 · Effective: 6 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Medir Limited (“Medir”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our mobile applications (the “Apps”), our website and any related services (together, the “Services”).

In short: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your personal data, and you can contact us at any time at [email protected] to access or delete your information.

Some Apps may have an additional, app‑specific privacy notice or a privacy “nutrition label” on their App Store or Google Play listing. Where they do, it supplements this Policy.

Who we are

Medir Limited is the data controller responsible for your personal information processed through the Services. You can contact us at [email protected].

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact and support information: your name, email address and the content of messages when you contact us.
  • Account information (only for Apps that offer accounts): email address, display name and password (stored in hashed form), or a sign‑in token if you use Sign in with Apple or Google.
  • User content: notes, photos, files or other content you create or import into an App. Where possible this is stored only on your device or in your own iCloud / Google account.
  • Feedback: survey answers, ratings and feature requests.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, region and time zone.
  • Usage and diagnostics: feature interactions, session length, crash logs and performance data, used to improve stability.
  • Identifiers: an app‑specific installation ID, and, only where you give permission on iOS through App Tracking Transparency, the advertising identifier (IDFA). On Android, the Advertising ID subject to your device settings.
  • Purchase information: subscription status and transaction identifiers provided by Apple or Google. We never receive your full payment card details.

Device permissions

Some features need access to your camera, photo library, microphone, location, contacts or notifications. We ask only when you first use that feature, and you can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings. Unless an App clearly says otherwise, content accessed through these permissions is processed on your device and not uploaded to our servers.

How we use your information

  • To process and verify in‑app purchases and subscriptions;

  • To send service notifications and, only with your consent, marketing messages;
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. The specific providers used by each App are disclosed in that App's store privacy label.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross‑context behavioural advertising without your consent. We share information only:

  • with service providers acting on our instructions (see above);
  • with advertising partners, if you have consented to personalised ads;
  • if required by law, court order or a valid government request;
  • to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, us or others;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.

Advertising and tracking

Some free Apps display ads. On iOS, we track you across other companies' apps and websites only if you allow it through the App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you will see non‑personalised ads. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's Google settings. Where required, we show a consent dialog (such as a Google‑certified CMP) before serving personalised ads in the UK and EEA.

Data retention

  • Support emails: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
  • Account data: for as long as your account is active; deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
  • Crash and analytics data: usually 90 days to 14 months, depending on the provider's settings.
  • Purchase records: as long as required for tax and accounting law (typically 6 years).

Content stored only on your device is deleted when you delete the App.

Data security

We use industry‑standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, least‑privilege permissions and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify you and regulators of any qualifying breach as required by law.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information (“right to be forgotten”);
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (US state laws, including California's CCPA/CPRA);
  • not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email [email protected] or see Delete your data. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days (or 45 days where US law allows). You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children's privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in some EEA countries) unless an App is specifically labelled for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. See our Children's Privacy page for more.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the App or by email. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
